Photovoltaics on two south-facing roof surfaces and 28.45 kWp output

On 25.06.2010 we installed photovoltaics on our roof areas. We installed 158 aleo S_24 modules (180W). Four inverters feed an average of 30,000 kWh per year into the public grid. This corresponds to a CO2 avoidance of approx. 18 tons per year. This system has the potential to supply electricity for 7.5 family households.
Two wind turbines with a rated output of 1300 kW were commissioned in 2002

On our land (0.5 ha), two modern wind turbines (AN Bonus 1300/62), each with a rated output of 1300 kW, were put into operation by the operating company E&U GmbH on June 26, 2002. The total height of these turbines is 121 meters. The forecast yield of both turbines was calculated at 5608.734 MWh/a. In 2004, 6293.287 MWh were actually produced (data taken from the operator's homepage). Repowering of the plant is planned. The current CO2 savings (coal-fired electricity 0.91 tons CO2/MWh) are approx. 5,500 tons per year.
