Horse breeding has a tradition of more than 125 years on the Geffers farm. Around 1900, my great-grandfather Robert founded a successful cold-blooded breeding program. In the 1950s we switched to breeding warmbloods. Since then, Hanoverians have been bred on our farm for equestrian sport with a focus on show jumping. At the beginning of the 2000s, we also opened our stables to external riders. In addition to our own breeding, we also offer stabling for riding horses and broodmares, for which we organize all-round care. The stables have
- 5 large horse boxes with windows overlooking the yard (4 x 3.50 m)
- 1 large foaling box (5 x 3.50 m)
- 1 loose box stable for weanlings and young horses (16 x 3.50 m)
We also have 6 paved paddock areas and approx. 2.5 ha summer pasture around the stable. A riding arena (grass/sand, 35 x 60 m) is also available.
