A life without horses is possible, but pointless.

With up to four broodmares, including state premium mares, my father successfully bred horses for sport, with a particular focus on show jumpers. By 2003, over 50 offspring from 13 mar es had been bred and sold. Many of these horses made their way into show jumping via talented riders, with some making it to the highest classes (over 1.40 m). The most successful mare he bred was "Goldperle" by Gotthard out of a Marconi dam. Offspring from this mare continue to be bred at Hof Geffers. This means that Gotthard's much appreciated jumping blood is secured in our breeding program. The Hanoverian Verband has developed its own breeding program for this so-called G-line.
